Call For Auditions - Fall 2008 Show

Liberty? Hmm…debatable!
…And the Pursuit of Happiness? What is that supposed to mean?!

Vox Feminista is holding auditions to consider a guest, or guests, for our Fall 2008 show, … And The Pursuit of Happiness.

With a historic election (finally) in the not so distant future Vox seeks to look beyond the capitalist system for change. For hope. What will the future be like? And how does the journey of happiness, both personal and political, figure into the world as we know it and into communities of the future? The USA is loaded with an overabundance of cars, clothes, political jabber, pharmaceuticals, and all sorts of “stuff,” that tells us we are “happy” how can humans dig deep to find the essence of our own basic happiness?

We are looking for radical, outrageous, original pieces, five minutes or less, humor is always appreciated.

Auditions will be held, Sunday September 7 at 2pm at the Mercury Café in Denver (2199 California St)
Performers MUST be available weekends October 18-December 13
